Folgers Spiced Cafe Mocha Coffee

Description:
Perfect for any occasion. Easy 10 minute Recipe from our friends at Folgers Coffee.

Ingredients:

    • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
    • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus additional for garnish
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 cups of Milk
    • Whipped Cream
    • 3 cups brewed Folgers® Black Silk Coffee

                   OR Folgers Classic Roast® Coffee


Directions:
1.  COMBINE sweetened condensed milk, cocoa, pumpkin pie spice and salt in large saucepan.  Whisk until blended.

2.  STIR in freshly brewed coffee that has been cooled and milk.  Heat over medium heat until hot but do NOT Boil.  Serve garnished with whipped cream on top.  Sprinkle with more pumpkin pie spice or your favorite topping.

True Lemon Herb Salmon

Ingredients:
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
4 packs of True Lemon
1 clove garlic minced
1/8 teaspoon rosemary
½ teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon chives
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
4 medium salmon steaks cut ¼ inch thick

Directions:
In large bowl combine all ingredients except salmon steaks; mix well. Add fish to bowl; spoon marinade over fish until well coated. Cover; refrigerate for at least 2 hours, turning fish over after 1 hour. Place fish on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.

 


 

Pekoe Tea Lemonade

Description:
Sweet black tea mixed with lemonade is the perfect complement to any hot day or meal.

Ingredients:
5 cups Water
½ cup Sugar
Lipton Tea Bags
1 can Frozen Lemonade

Directions:
Bring 5 cups of water and ½ cup sugar to a boil in a small pot, then remove from the heat and add Lipton tea bags.
Allow tea to steep while you mix one can frozen lemonade and 5 additional cups of water in a large pitcher.
Pour the tea mixture into the lemonade, disposing the tea bags. Stir and refrigerate until cold before serving.

 


 

True Lemon Friendship Tea

Description:
The unique and exquisite flavor of True Lemon Friendship Tea is created by combining ingredients such as Tang, True Lemon & Sugar.  The hint of cinnamon and nutmeg make this the perfect tea to serve during the holidays. 

Ingredients:
4 packets True Lemon
½ cup Instant Tea
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Tang
1½ teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Nutmeg

Directions:
1. Mix the True Lemon Friendship Tea ingredients together.
2. Place the tea mixture into a tightly sealed container.
3. Serve tea by blending 1 cup of boiling water with 2-3 teaspoons of tea mix.
*Add ice cubes to serve cold.

Tip:
The leftover tea mix is a great gift for friends, family & acquaintances.  Pour tea mixture into tightly sealed jars & use ribbon to attaching serving directions to each container of tea mix.

 


True Grapefruit Ice Cream

Description:
Surprise your family with homemade ice cream that tastes like grapefruit.  The amazing flavor of True Grapefruit Ice Cream is created by combining True Grapefruit, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla & salt.  A creamy & delicious homemade dessert that family & friends will enjoy.

Ingredients:
20-24 packets True Grapefruit
1 ¾ cup Whipping (not heavy) Cream
1 ¼ cup Whole Milk
¾ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Mexican Vanilla
dash of Salt
Red Food Coloring

Directions:
1. Use a medium bowl to whisk 1 cup of milk, sugar, salt & True Grapefruit Packets.
2. Gently blend in whipping cream, ¼ cup milk, vanilla & 1 drop of red food coloring.
3. Put the mixture in the fridge to chill for at least 90 minutes.
4. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker (each ice cream maker has different instructions).
5. Scoop the True Grapefruit Ice Cream into containers & chill in the freezer to harden.
*For a creamier texture, use flatter containers.

 


 

Tuna & White Bean Salad

Ingredients:
1 can tuna, drained
1-15 oz can white navy beans or garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
4 stalks celery, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, minced (optional)
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 packet True Lime
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together tuna, beans, celery and red onion. Add olive oil and True Lime to tuna mixture and combine thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!

Yield: 2 Servings

 


 

True Lemon™ Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients:
1 lb. green beans (trim ends)
3 tablespoon melted butter
3 tablespoon minced garlic
5 Packets True Lemon
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Cook green beans in large pot of salted water until tender. Drain well. Mix butter, salt, garlic, pepper and True Lemon™. Pour butter mixture over green beans. Toss well. Serve immediately.

 


 

Brother Kane's Gourmet Peanut Butter Toffee Bars

Ingredients:
2/3 cup butter
4 cups oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
3 tbs vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1-1 ½ cups Brother Kane's Gourmet Butter Toffee Peanuts

Directions:
Melt butter and pour over all items except Brother Kane's Gourmet Butter Toffee Peanuts. Mix. Spread Brother Kane's Gourmet Butter Toffee Peanuts evenly on bottom of a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour mixture over the top of the Gourmet Butter Toffee Peanuts. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

FROSTING:
2/3 cup peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Melt together and spread over bars. Cool and cut into squares.


Cranberry Spinach Salad with True Orange Vinaigrette

Description:
Gourmet salad that is great to eat on its own or as a side dish.  Compliment Cranberry Spinach Salad with True Orange Vinaigrette, a great and flavorful salad dressing.  The tangy & delicious flavor the vinaigrette salad dressing goes great with all different type of salads.  


True Orange Vinaigrette Ingredients:
4 packets True Orange

4 teaspoons Olive Oil
4 teaspoons White Wine or Champagne Vinegar
½ teaspoon Dijon Mustard
Dash of Salt
Optional: ½ teaspoon Fresh Rosemary.

Cranberry Spinach Salad Ingredients:

4 cups Fresh Baby Spinach
4 tablespoons Smoked Provolone/Smoked Mozzarella, Shredded OR 4 tablespoons Goat Cheese/Feta Cheese, Crumbled.
2 tablespoons Slivered Almond, Toasted
2 tablespoon Dried Cranberries

Vinaigrette Directions:
1. Use a container to combine all the ingredients for the True Orange Vinaigrette Salad Dressing.
2. Cover the container and shake well.

Cranberry Spinach Salad Directions:
1. Use 4 salad plates & put 1 cup of spinach onto each plate.
2. Top each plate with ½ teaspoon of almonds, ½ teaspoon of cranberries & 1 table spoon of cheese.
3. Serve with True Orange Vinaigrette Salad Dressing.

 


Lemon-Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

Description:
Healthy & delightful turkey breast with a lemon-flavored twist.  Lemon-Herb Roasted Turkey Breast is great as the main course for a Thanksgiving Feast or any celebration.  A great turkey recipe to cook for the holiday season.  

Ingredients:
1 whole Bone-in Turkey Breast (6½-7 pounds)
4 packets True Lemon
1 cup Dry White Wine
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Water
1 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Rosemary Leaves
1 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Sage Leaves
1 teaspoon Chopped Fresh Thyme Leaves
1 tablespoon Minced Garlic (3 Cloves)
2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
2.  Place the turkey breast, skin side up, on a rack in a roasting pan.
3.  Take the True Lemon Packets & dissolve them with the water to make lemon juice.
4.  In a small bowl, make a paste by combing olive oil, rosemary, sage, thyme, garlic, salt, pepper, mustard & lemon juice. 
5. Put half of the paste onto the skin.
6. Use your fingers to loosen the skin and put the other half of the paste onto the meat.
7. Pour the white wine onto the bottom of the roasting pan.
8. Cook the Turkey for 1¾-2 hours or until the skin is golden brown.
9. Make sure the turkey is at least 165 degrees F by placing a meat thermometer into the thickest parts of the turkey breast.
10. Allow turkey to cool for 15 minutes & serve it with the juices from the bottom of the roasting pan.
*If the skin is browning too quickly, loosely cover the turkey with foil.
 

 


True Lemon Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes

Description:
Classic Thanksgiving sweet potato dish with a new spin.  There's no need to add marshmallows because the incredible blend of True Lemon & maple syrup gives a fantastic sweet flavor.  The recipe for True Lemon Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes is perfect to cook as a side dish for or your holiday meal. 

Ingredients:
2 ½ pounds Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 ½-inch pieces (about 8 cups)
2 packets True Lemon
⅓ cup Pure Maple Syrup
2 tablespoons Butter or Butter Substitute, Melted
½ teaspoon Salt
Pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Arrange the sweet potatoes in an even layer in a 9' by 13' glass baking dish.
3. Use a small bowl to combine True Lemon, maple syrup, butter, salt & pepper.
4.  Pour the mixture from the small bowl onto the sweet potatoes.
5. Cover the glass baking dish with foil.
6. Uncover baking dish & stir every 15 minutes until the sweet potatoes are tender & starting to brown.
7. Cook for an additional 45-50 minutes.
 

 


True Lime Broccoli

Description:
Steamed broccoli with an amazing lime flavor.  True Lime Broccoli is an easy to make vegetable dish that people will want to eat.  Use the True Lime Broccoli recipe to make a light & delicious side dish that goes great with any meal. 

Ingredients:
2 ½ cups of Broccoli
1 packet True Lime
Butter or Margarine to taste

Directions:
1. Steam broccoli for 6 minutes or until broccoli is a bright green color.
2. Add True Lime & butter/margarine to the steamed broccoli.

Tip:
If you prefer a lemon flavor, use True Lemon instead of True Lime.


Chocolate-Marshmallow Tarts

Ingredients:
1 container (8 oz ) whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt with low-calorie sweetener
3 envelopes (1 oz each) Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate with Marshmallows Hot Cocoa Mix
1 pkg (4 oz ) mini graham cracker pie crusts (4 oz pkg = 6 crusts)
Whipped Cream
Fresh Raspberries, optional

Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, yogurt and cocoa mix in medium bowl; blend until smooth.
2. Portion equal amounts of cream cheese mixture into 6 mini crusts. Cover; chill for at least 2 hours.
3. Top each tart with Whipped Cream just before serving. Garnish with raspberries, if desired.

Time: Hands On: 10 minutes Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes

Yield: Makes 6 servings (1 tart each)


True Orange Garden Salsa

Ingredients:
4 large tomatoes, diced
1 cup chopped onion
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 large green pepper, seeded and diced
1 large red pepper, seeded and diced
1 large yellow pepper, seeded and diced
½ cup of celery finely chopped
½ cup chopped fresh basil
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
10 True Orange Packets
¼ cup water

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.

Yield: Makes about 1 quart or 16 ¼ cup servings.


Quick Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:
4 envelopes Lipton Chicken Cup-A-Soup
2 large chicken breasts,(4.5 oz. each), cooked and chunked
16 oz. fresh or frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups Bisquick in a large zip lock baggie
⅔ cup milk

Directions:
Mix the soup, chicken meat and vegetables in a relatively deep pot with 3 to 4 cups water. Place on stove. Heat to boiling then simmer, stirring occasionally.

While soup is heating, add milk to Bisquick mix and knead in zip lock baggie. When soup is hot, tear off a corner of the bag and squeeze out mounds of Bisquick into the pot. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes over low heat.
